In the hush of winter’s sparkle, the snowman with his tall black top hat stands proudly, as if he were mayor of the snowy meadow. The hat, a little too big for his frosty head, is tipped just so—and tucked into its ribbon is a sprig of holly, the green leaves shining against the white snow, the berries glowing like tiny drops of Christmas cheer.
His coal eyes twinkle with mischief, as though he knows secrets about the drifting snowflakes, and his carrot nose points out the way to adventure. A wide smile of pebbles curves across his face, ready to laugh at the jingle of sleigh bells or the whisper of children’s giggles.
Some say if you pass by at midnight, when the moonlight scatters silver across the fields, you might see him tip his hat politely, or hear the crunch of snow as he takes a careful step, the holly on his hat sparkling with winter magic.
